Section 16 of this shelter in place order classifies certain businesses including food banks and businesses that provide food and other necessities of life "for economically disadvantaged or otherwise needy individuals;" and food cultivation, including farming, livestock, and fishing as "essential businesses." The order specifies that these businesses may continue to operate amid other closures (and are encouraged to do so at section 15) "provided federal and CDC guidelines, including social distancing requirements, are followed. Section 16 also provides additional recommended occupancy and customer spacing metrics.
