This ordinance reduces the "meals tax rate" set forth in § 35-137 of the City Code from 5.5 percent to 0 percent for applicable transactions occurring in May 2020, June 2020 and July 2020. It also specifies offsets in Fiscal Year 2019-20 for the reduced revenues from the change in rate.
