Requires chief procurement officer to develop and post guidelines to increase New York produced food, incorporate the guidelines into RFPs, and require vendors to report on NY produced foods for food purchase contracts and food-related service contracts. The chief procurement officer must report annually to the mayor and speaker of the city council about "the city’s efforts during the preceding fiscal year to implement the city guidelines for the purchase of New York state food" (6.130 (g)).
