These provisions set standards for the City's "A-1 Urban Agricultural Zone." They specifically designate agricultural uses such as growing of crops, dairying, grazing, the raising and maintaining of poultry and livestock as permitted uses in that zone and emphasize that the zone provides an opportunity for Planned Unit Development (PUD) that allows for open space design for the protection of sensitive natural resources.
Applies to multi-unit housing, including housing with multiple dwelling units, townhouses, and two-family units (§ 38-456).

The purpose of the A-1 Urban Agricultural Zone is to provide the opportunity for agricultural land and related uses within the City limits. General implementation details are lacking, however section 38-456 (1) provides guidance on implementation: "Flexibility in the arrangement of residential uses may be permitted by the City Council as a special exception in any A-1 Urban Agricultural Zone…" § 38-456 (1).
Fines of not less than two ($2.00) dollars nor more than fifty ($50.00) for each offense are specified generally for violations of the zoning chapter. (§ 38-681)
