This law prohibits food establishments from storing, distributing, holding for service, or serving foods containing artificial trans fat or using them in preparation of any menu item or food served, except food that is being served directly to patrons in a manufacturer's original sealed package.

This Article shall be liberally construed and applied to promote its underlying purpose of protecting the public health. § 132-27.
§ 132-24.1(b)
A fine of ninety dollars ($90.00)(Each re-inspection at which a violation is discovered shall constitute a separate violation). § 132-24.1 (d).
