This law establishes a senior citizen advisory commission whose responsibilities include, among others, advising the mayor and the Anchorage Assembly with respect to aspects of aging which bear upon the welfare of senior citizens; and conducting surveys and compiling and disseminating information on health, nutrition, and other services for the benefit of senior citizens.
