This law establishes a permitting process and regulatory requirements for mobile food trucks. It also establishes a city Mobile Food Trucks Committee and specifically indicates that the Committee may work with permit applicants to encourage, "charitable components to the business of operation," "school nutrition programs or healthy food choices," "programs for children or the homeless," and "routes that provide access to underserved neighborhoods of the city."
