Section 10(g) of this stay at home or place of residence order defines “essential business” that may occur during the period covered by the order to include food banks((g)(ii)); "businesses that provide food, shelter, and social services, and other necessities of life for economically disadvantaged or otherwise needy individuals" ((g)(iv)); and schools and other entities that typically provide free food services to students or members of the public" provided that the food is provided to students or members of the public on a pick-up and take-away basis only ((g)(xiii)). Section 4 of the order further provides that "essential businesses are strongly encouraged to remain open," and sets social distancing requirements.
