This provision sets forth the general purpose and intent of the City's land development code and is not a law per se. It states, among other things, an intent to "promote green and sustainable development through carbon footprint reduction, water conservation and reuse, energy conservation, renewable energy use, recycling and waste reduction, vegetation, urban agriculture, and hazard-resilient development."
