This law allows single-family homes to incorporate gardens, either raised or non-raised beds, into all yards and may be tended with only household garden products, tools, and equipment.
Purpose section states the purpose of the code is to "protect the health, safety, and welfare of their occupants and of the general public" § 15-2701.
"The purpose of this article is to establish standards for specific uses and activities that are permitted or conditionally permitted in some or all districts. These provisions are supplemental standards and requirements to minimize the impacts of these uses and activities on surrounding properties and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of their occupants and of the general public." § 15-2701.
