Section III (A)(1)(ii) defines “essential activities” that residents may engage in during the state of emergency period declared by the City beginning on March 12, 2020, to include e.g., activities to obtain or deliver fresh fruits and vegetables; and fresh meats, fish and poultry. Section III (A)(2) defines “essential businesses” that may continue operating during the period to include e.g., produce stands; stores and other establishments engaged in the retail sale of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meats, fish and poultry; and food cultivation, including farming livestock and fishing.
