This provision is part of a law that sets up a permitting process for special events that could require temporary closure of city streets. § 41.20.1 (a)
Law authorizes and directs the Board ito require applicants for Special Events Permits to hold a Certified Farmers' Market provide proof that the market will accept EBT cards by providing a Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) Number issued by the USDA. § 41.20(j). General implementation provisions relating to special event permits are provided throughout §41.20.
The Director of the Bureau of Street Services has the authority to revoke a Special Events Permit for any violation of the terms and conditions of the permit. §41.20 (a).
