This Metropolitan Council resolution requests the Mayor's Office to release $2,500,000 of CARES funding to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to distribute food to those most in need due to COVID-19. Any resident of the county is eligible to receive food, the food is not limited by a beneficiaries inability to produce a social security number. Section 6 provides specific requirements to ensure proper disbursement and allocation.
