This resolution contains orders for certain business closures including places of public accommodation offering food or beverage for on-premises consumption, but specifically exempts, e.g., food pantries (where food and beverage is not consumed on premises) (item 3.a.); health care, residential care, congregate care and juvenile justice facilities (item 3.c.); crisis shelters and similar institutions (item 3.d.); and emergency facilities necessary to respond to COVID-19 related events (item 3.f.) The resolution further orders closure of most child care centers and home daycares, but provides exemptions for childcare serving children of "essential personnel," including certain kitchen staff for educational, childcare and healthcare services; and supply chain workers.
