This law requires cooking facilities in single room occupancy hotels and establishes standards for such facilities. The cooking facilities must be "either in individual units or in a community kitchen."
One of the purposes of this policy is to "...protect the health, safety, and welfare of occupants and of the general public." § 18.23.010.
One objective of the code under this title is "[t]o support economic development and job creation." § 18.01.020.
The Building Inspector of the City has enforcement authority. § 18.39.020.
